Drift down the rapids of Sandy Springs Hollow in a kayak, and Meadows Park is a pleasant spot to check out.A long drive separates Harrison from Alum Cove National Recreation Trail, but hiking it is always fun. If you come at the right time of year, Shop Creek - West Fork offers some good whitewater, and of course Barberry Creek flows through this vicinity.
