September 8 First visit by Rick & Irma
One of the Rangers told us it was flooded and not much access for bank fishing. My wife Irma and I caught 6 largemouth in about 45 minutes. That was great!

Did not enjoy stay. Had called to find out if it had a swimming area, was told yes. No it does not.(Unless you have a boat) Needed to say on web page. Also cannot catch fish off of banks. You could not eat fish, if you were able to catch. Fish had high levels of DDT. Should have made that clear. Had to leave 4 days early due to family emergency. Could not get a refund, nor find a park ranger or the 2 camp hosts. We will not go back to Brantley.
August 25 Great time for boating
The lake is near full capacity and we are due for more rain so the lake is very good for boating.
June 18 Lake is very, very low as of 06-18-13.
Lake is very, very low. Did not see one boat on lake or see anyone trying to fish. I would not recommend visiting the park until there is a lot of much needed rain.
September 24 Great for boating by Paul
Loved it, nice people and a nice lake to boat and swim in. Very Clean and the lightning storm we saw there was awesome.
April 19 Peaceful! by Rick and Kim
A hidden jewel in the Spring (when we were there). Tons of jack rabbits, cotton tails, road runners, etc. Clean, neat, nice park rangers, and nice and quiet. We love it!
