This allows individuals the opportunity to engage in various water activities such as fishing and sailing. Canoeing and kayaking are also popular choices among guests due to calm waters near the shorelines.

Trails
There are no established trails within the park, but a nearby abandoned railroad cooridor adjacent to the park provides opportunities for hiking and skiing in the winter.
Bicycling
Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy the park's paved roads, though there are no designated bike trails. Safety gear is recommended.

The terrain may be challenging for beginners due to occasional steep inclines and sharp turns.

Riding after dark isn't advised as lighting within the area is limited; daytime biking ensures better visibility of potential hazards.

Remember that cyclists share these routes with motorists so always stay alert and follow traffic rules diligently.

In winter months, cycling might not be feasible because of snow or icy conditions on roadways.

Always check weather forecasts before planning a ride since sudden changes could make paths slippery or dangerous.

June 5 closed early summer by tim_x

July 13 Great park for kids by Armyengr
park review stars; one to five Camped here 5-9 July 2011, 4 adults, 2 children. This is a great place for kids--shallow sandy beach, playground and bike paths. However, I like a bit of privacy when camping and all the sites here are right on top of each other, you are always 20 ft. or so from your neighbors with little to separate you-very crowded. Washrooms are pretty decent for a state park.
