May 6 One of our favorite TN state parks by Rich
Nice park, lots to do , very freindly staff. Sites very nice and plentiful...dump site often congested in mornings. Could use some tree trimming in main camping area as larger rigs are prone to run into tree in order to negotiate turns.
August 6 Family Reunion 2006 by Patricia Cross
We had a family reunion a few years ago. All but one cabin was rented by our family and it was beautiful. We had so much fun we are all thinking about visiting next year again and doing the hiking, horse back riding (my favorite) and the cave was excellent. The family had a blast with that one. Anyone who visits will be sure to have a great time. Not too far from Nashville and some small towns. The workers were great people to greet and talk with. Thank you for such a great time.
July 4 Great Park close to home
We live in Nashville and while traveling back from another park decided to check it out for a later date but ended up staying the night we liked it so much. The camp store doesnt offer much but there is a small grocery right outside the campground, and a wal mart 9 miles outside the gates. Bathrooms were very clean and the campsites were all well maintained. There were regular patrols by the rangers and all the staff was very nice. Pay attention when you are looking at the sites whether there will be shade during the hot parts of the day however. A very nice park.
August 6 A Wonderful Park
Cedars is a quaint rustic style park with a great pool, good pull through campsites that are well maintained, and a wonderful Ranger staff.
