Me and my wife went to the lake for our first time as a married couple. She has never been camping there but the only thing is that it needs a little more trees the fishing was great thank you New Mexico Parks for keeping the lake clean.
April 15 A Beautiful Lake in the Desert by Paul Brian
This is a beautiful lake just outside TorC. The people are friendly and the lake is usually not to crowded. Drive up to the dam and have a look.. It is stunning.
March 31 Fun in the Sun by Penny Mac
We are planning another 10 day stay, this will be our third year. We enjoy everything about this lake. Plenty of room to play on the water, fishing is fair to good, nice showers. And Great marinas.
July 15 Great view RV places by Chris
My family and me spent a night here with our RV. All places, including the non-reservation-needed places have a very nice view on the lake. Just perfect. Maybe the best place to stay when travelling between El Paso and Albuquerque.
June 21 A Desert Paradise by Mike 3
This is one of my favorite state parks. The fishing is the best Ive found in New Mexico. It even rivals some of the fresh water lakes in Texas. Most of the lake is Perfect for swimming and boating and there are a couple of boat rental companies stationed on the lake. For the fishermen who would like to familiarize themselves with the lake there are several fishing guides and charters in the area.
