Picnicking
Grand Isle State Park offers picnic areas with grills, tables and stunning lake views. Alcohol is permitted in designated areas.
Bicycling
Biking enthusiasts can enjoy the park's multi-use trails. However, be aware that some areas may have rough terrain.

While biking is allowed within this green space, it should be noted there are no dedicated bike paths.

The natural setting offers a scenic ride but remember to stay on designated routes for safety and conservation reasons.

Cyclists need to exercise caution due to potential wildlife encounters or sudden changes in weather conditions during their rides.

Please note: helmets are strongly recommended while cycling as parts of the trail might get steep and rocky at times.

Remember also that sharing pathways with pedestrians requires respectful riding practices from all cyclists involved.
Birding
Birding options include spotting species like the Red-eyed Vireo, Yellow Warbler and American Goldfinch. The park is also home to waterfowl such as Mallards and Canada Geese. Birdwatchers can explore various habitats including forests, wetlands, meadows and lake shores for diverse bird sightings. During migration seasons, rare birds may be spotted too.
