This is the most wonderful campground we have ever stayed in, anywhere. We have been coming there now for 20 years. love every minute. No negative comments from here.

We love the natural beauty of the island. However, the campground is need of improvement. The sites are too close together, lots of litter, and drainage issues during storms. However, the staff is always pleasant. Lastly, not happy with the desire to build up the island. The area near the convention center is too commercialized and takes away from the history. We have been coming here for 25 years and the last few years have been disappointed in the commercialization, which is distracting of the natural beauty and history of the island.
July 10 loved everything but the campground , by duckie
Hey thats part of camping, maybe u should get a hotel...
September 16 Loved everything except the campground d by Nanaking
We loved the park and Island. The campground has dirt roads and black dirt camping sites. Our dogs,RV, and linen were filthy, upon returning home. We loved the fishing pier, off shore fishing, shops, etc. The surrounding area has sparse choices for evening dining opportunities. Please pave the campground and upgrade the store, so that we will want to return!
March 16 Our favorite place to camp! by Sharon of Orlando
My family, extended family and friends have been camping here for over 35 years and have seen many improvements. We love it just the way it is, dirt, leaves, trees and all! The staff is always very kind and accommodating. It is very accessible to the pier, beach and all the great bike trails. Save us a spot please!
December 10 Outstanding except for campground by Robert B. Stewart
This campground has one of the finest sites in the USA. However, in the nine years we have been coming here there have been no improvements to a dirty and dusty campground. The rest of the island is why we come back.
