State Park Overview:
World-class Lake Barkley lodge, designed by Edward Durrell Stone, seems to have just emerged naturally from the wooded shoreline that surrounds it. The grand scale, post-and-beam wood construction features 3 1/2 acres of glass offering outstanding views of Lake Barkley.

In addition to the outdoor pool overlooking the lake, the resort has a heated, indoor pool. Our fitness center offers executive treatment with Nautilus equipment, fitness cycles, a weight room, racquet ball court, tanning beds, sauna, whirlpool and fitness trainers.

In addition to accommodations in the main lodge, the resort has the secluded Little River Lodge and several cottage styles to choose from. The 18-hole, par-71 Boots Randolph golf course is a challenge for even the most avid of golfers. Resort guests can also enjoy a spacious campground, full-service marina, a lighted airstrip and trails for hiking and mountain biking.
