May 5 Great place for ghost hunting! by Elizabeth

One day doing a Google search of Monmouth Battlefield, I came across a website that had a ghost hunter investigating here and finding lots of interesting things. On my next trip to the park to go hiking, I brought along a voice recorder to see if I could catch a ghost voice too. I was near the hedgerow by the orchard and my recorder did catch a voice saying hello to me and there was nobody else around but me! Creeepy but not scary in the least. I cannot wait to go back and try this again to see if I can get anymore ghostly voices.

August 25 Under Construction by yorkforrester

I was deeply disappointed to go today to the park and find that the visitors center was under construction. So I could only pull a map from a plastic box hanging on the side of an information sign. Looking at the photos here again online, it seems that I missed the entire tour.

June 12 Favorite park!

We live just a few minutes from this park and we love it! There is a great playground for the little ones and lots of picnic tables for barbeques. The annual reenactment of the Battle of Monmouth is always fun! Loads of trails to hike,too. This is definitely our favorite park!
