Been there the last four Sundays tomorrow looks to be too cold so we will have to take a break. Wife and I absolutely love it. Just wish it would be easier to find the origional site of the town of Prepreation and the lake or is the lake willow lake thanks Iowa for a fantastic place to viist we will be back.

June 26 Memories of growing up by Shelly

I remember all the great times I had at Preparation park growing up and spending time with my family. Then after the tornado occurred it saddened my heart but was even worse to see it since it recently opened back up.I suggest they let the people come in and give it some TLC. It will take time for things to grow back but believe me there are alot of us that would like to spend a frew weekends out there to help clean things up and fix picnic tables and the grills. So that we may continue to make memories for our next generation
