This area is dedicated to the pursuit of wildlife enjoyment, not mountain biking, camping or dirt biking. The trails are NEVER marked in a WILDLIFE AREA as they assume that people hunting and hiking know where they are & what they are doing. Most trails in WILDLIFE AREAS are either fire breaks/road or animal trails. Human development is kept to a minimum. There are no sources of drinking water, restrooms, camp spaces, RV hook-ups, trash cans, etc. Be forewarned that hunters are legally HUNTING with rifles, shotguns and archery equipment. It also has months of closure - usually from January through opening day of archery deer season. Access during hunting seasons - deer, turkey, pig, quail, pheasant - may be limited to only those with hunting reservations from Dept of Fish & Game.
