July 6 Beach area by Ann
My review is regarding the beach area only. This beach is so bad that I refuse to give it even 1 star. It is the nastiest place I have ever been to. Trash everywhere and bathrooms are overflowing. Virus or not Georgia should be ashamed of this place. I will truly say we will never come here again. I am a park pass holder and have been to a lot of the parks that are great. This one is not.
March 15 Lodge is very nice by Barb
We stayed for 2 night at the Lodge, rooms were nice, scene was very woodsy (nice to be in nature) and their restaurant was very good. Servers were Execelent! Full buffet for dinner, nice breakfast with waffles, fruit and cereal. Good coffee! Enjoyed the paved trails very much. Our group used the meeting room in the evenings - we really enjoyed our stay.
July 24 Convenient to Many Attractions
We enjoyed camping here, although the campground is not very favorable to big rigs unless you reserve one of the pull thru sites upfront. Beautiful lake! Convenient to Atlanta although you can find many musuems and historical sites closer by in Cartersville. Very nice small town vibe in the downtown area.
May 21 A park I enjoy camping at by wikki
I love camping here. The only thing I have against this park is that they have put on those ugly harnesses on the deer in the park. It takes away from the beauty of them. Before they had the deer kill, you could always count on seeing plenty of deer around. NOT ANYMORE!!! A state park in Indiana had the same practice in the deer kill but not to the extreme as Red Top. Redtop is still a beautiful park to camp at.
