| State Park Overview: |
 | Rough River Dam is surrounded by rolling countryside overlooking a 5,000 acre lake. Some of the finest fishing in the state is to be found in the deep waters of Rough River. Non-anglers can enjoy the lake on a pontoon, or scurry across quickly on water skis or jet skis.
The resort also features a 9-hole, par-3 golf course and the beautiful 18-hole Lafayette Golf Course is just a couple miles from the park. Enjoy the history and folklore of the area with a trip to the Pine Knob Theatre, offering outdoor dramas from June to September. |

Pilots Paradise!
Love the fact that the airport is on the premises! It is one of the best places to fly for a weekend or afternoon of relaxation. The dining is fantastic and the view is incredible!

| Camping: |
| Enjoy the unspoiled beauty surrounding a 66-site campground, next to Rough River. Utility hookups, a dump station, and a central service building with showers and rest rooms are available.
Open April 1 - October 31. Camping rates are $18 per night for 2 adults. Each additional person over 16 years of age $3 per night. Check-out by 2:00 PM, Central time. No advance reservations. Pets are allowed if restrained. |
| Trails: |
| A one-mile nature trail follows the lake shoreline, and links the lodge, marina and cottage areas. The Army Corps of Engineers maintain a self-guided interpretive trail on federal land adjacent to the park. |
| Boating: |
| Rough River Lake is the perfect location for the water sports enthusiast. The marina offers 121 open slips, 29 open houseboat slips, 48 covered slips, a launching ramp, and rental fishing boats and pontoon boats.

| A pool is available for lodge and cottage guests. Or enjoy the gentle waves of Rough River Lake on the public beach, serviced with a bathhouse.

| The avid angler will delight in the abundance of largemouth, white, and Kentucky bass, bluegill, channel catfish, crappie, and rough fish. |

| Pine Knob Theatre - "Classic Shows Under the Stars"
It?s the sixteenth season for Pine Knob Theatre, 14 miles south of Rough River Dam Resort. The outdoor amphitheater was built in 1987 along with a 50s Diner in the historic Pine Knob Community. Four shows rotate - "Dock Brown," "Hoodoo," "LARD," and "T-BIRD." Performances are presented live on stage.
June through September, starting at 8 PM CT. All seats are $10. Reservations are not required except for large groups. Call 270-879-8190.

| The resort is on KY 79. From the Western Kentucky Parkway, exit on KY 79 north from Caneyville or exit on KY 259 N at Leitchfield and travel to the park via KY 54 from Leitchfield. Driving south, take KY 79 south from Hardinsburg and US 60. |
