You can also get to this trail from the Allegan State Game HQ by hiking the bike/ski trails.

Springtime is wet around Little Tom Lake. Little Tom Swamp Trail is dry in the summer and fall, but in the spring it becomes a wetland wonderland for people who are captivated with habitats for plants and animals.
