Be prepared for these nightime visitors. They are not afraid of you. Every night we had them come into camp, sometimes only 5 feet away while we were sitting around the campfire. It was sort of entertaining the first night, but very annoying after that. Water ballons, rocks and sticks would not keep them away. We felt like we were under attack! We stored all of our food & garbage properly but they could smell it even inside a cooler - inside a closed up truck. Had to chase one off the roof of the truck. We will not go back until they get the raccoon population under control! Also watch out for the poison ivy and the showers water can be overly hot at times. On a positive note, the pool was great to cool off in the 100 degree heat. Also excellent views from the picinic areas & towers.
