Brush Lake is a deep, clear lake with beaches surrounded by grass fields and spring wheat.

This mile long lake offers public access for swimming and is ideal for wildlife viewing, motorized boating and water skiing.

The Northeast portion of the lake includes a day use area with a boat ramp, dock and picnic area, along with a 12-site campground which consists of 10 electric campsites and 2 double campsite with electricity.

Due to the high alkali content of it's crystal clear waters, Brush Lake does not support any significant fish life.

1. Brush Lake State Park in Montana offers excellent swimming options.
2. The park features a deep, clear lake ideal for swimmers of all levels.
3. It's open daily from dawn to dusk for public swimming access.
4. No lifeguards are on duty so swim at your own risk and supervise children closely.
5. Swimming is not allowed around the boat ramp area due to safety concerns with watercrafts launching or docking there.

6. The crystal-clear waters offer great visibility making it perfect even for novice swimmers.

7. Swimming aids like floaties, noodles etc. , can be used but no motorized inflatables are permitted within the designated areas.

8. Picnic tables near the beach provide an opportunity to relax after a refreshing swim session.


9. There aren't any changing facilities available; plan ahead if you intend on switching between activities during your visit.



10. Dogs must remain leashed when visiting this state park and they're prohibited from entering into water bodies including lakes.




Boating
Boating is a popular activity with options for both motorized and non-motorized vessels. The park features a concrete boat ramp, allowing easy access to the water. However, there are no rental facilities within the park so visitors must bring their own equipment. It's important to note that boaters need to adhere strictly to Montana's Aquatic Invasive Species laws.
