COLD SPRINGS STATE PARK
Cold Springs State Park, located in Cass County near Lewis, Iowa, spans approximately 360 acres of rolling hills and natural prairie landscapes. The park's main feature is Lake Anita, a picturesque body of water that offers excellent opportunities for boating, fishing and swimming.

Established on May 30th, 1969 as a state recreation area before being designated a state park in the early '70s; Cold Springs provides various recreational activities including camping with modern facilities such as electric hookups and showers. Hiking trails meander through diverse habitats showcasing native flora and fauna while picnic areas offer scenic spots for family gatherings or quiet reflection.
Fishing
Enjoy fishing in a 14-acre lake stocked with catfish, bluegill and largemouth bass. A boat ramp is available for use.
