KINZUA BRIDGE STATE PARK
The 329-acre Kinzua Bridge State Park is in McKean County and features remnants of the 2,053-foot railroad bridge (viaduct) that was a National Engineering Landmark. A tornado has knocked down much of the bridge.
Enjoy fishing in the Allegheny Reservoir, home to species like walleye, smallmouth bass and northern pike. The Kinzua Creek also offers trout fishing opportunities.
Kinzua Bridge State Park is located near Bradford
Kinzua Bridge State Park offers picnic tables and pavilions, some with grills. Alcohol is prohibited in all areas.
The park offers birding opportunities with over 100 species, including warblers and raptors. Birdwatchers can use the Skywalk for viewing. The General Kane Trail is also popular among bird enthusiasts.
