November 20 Our go to place to camp for a few days by Ron from Cincinnati
Stonelick lake campground is one of my favorites anywhere around the Cincinnati area. Very well cared for, mowing and weedeating as well as flowers during the summer months. Showerhouse has been completely remodeled. The camphosts do a great job We just camped there this week for two days.

We love to camp at Stonelick The friends of Stonelick do a great job.We appreciate the clean restrooms, all the flowers and hanging baskets, and the well groomed grass including weed eating.
July 14 CAMPING SITE 26- TURTLE HAVEN by Mills--2014
Went camping last weekend at site 26 which in on the lake it was the most beautiful site- with the perfect lake view, we got up in the morning and sat by the lake and watched all the turtles, there isnt much fishing there but catch a couple turtles. The site is very large, it was a quiet camping area. Shower houses were very clean and hot water.. was impressed with everything. One thing that was disappointing went to rent canoes and they only had 2 for the whole camping area, so they were all rented out -first come first serve, didnt like that part and kids were bummed.Fun time worth the money to have the lakeview.
September 8 First time there by first timers..
The parks very nice. A lot of great people.. I just wish the camp ranger,if there is one would check on the time (2:30am) party goers across the road from us... We do not have a hardshell camper like they did, so the noise was terrible... Very disappointed...
May 30 The beach is horrible
The beach ends just before the water, so the edge is nothing but mud. Called and asked if the water was down just to make sure and was told no. Dirty sand covered in goose droppings and muddy water. Very disappointed since we also called ahead to ask the condition of the beach prior to coming.
June 27 not for seniors fishermen by john grimm
camping-a 5 ,, fishing not much acess to shoreline fishing a bummer.a 1.. the lake is very stagnated an scummy.. need more shoreline open areas.. what paths there are to the lake are very bad.. when it rains, everyone is in muddy thin grass.. Need to improve before i return... not worth the drive from Springfield........

Camping around cincinnati!
April 26 Nice Park - However, NOT for Swimming by CamperKam
Has good state park attractions: hiking trails, bike trails, playgrounds, and fishing. There are beaches for swimming however resident geese foul them regularly. Also, the man-made lake has had microbial imbalance issues in the past requiring clean-up. I know people who have gotten sick swimming there. Do everything but swim.
May 26 great park by glareonthesnare
stonelick is a great park for kids and you can get a lot of exercise, great fishing, bike trails, fun rent-a-bikes,good prices(only 27 dollars a night)a store just right up the road,BUT the bathrooms are nasty and they should nice for a state park.but a great place for friends
May 24 Astronomers favorite! by Indiana Brown
For years, the local astronomy club shows up on clear nights with dozens of amazing telescopes. One night, we walked over to the astronomy group from our campsite. We saw the rings of Saturn and the moons of Jupiter from the parking lot next to the lake. This beautiful park is a paradise for wildlife, birdwatching, and astronomy. Highly recommended.
