History of the Area

Directions
1. Start your journey from the nearest major city, which could be Kansas City or St. Louis.
2. If you are coming from Kansas City, take I:70 East towards Columbia for approximately 120 miles.
3. From St. Louis, head west on I:70 towards Columbia for about 100 miles.
4. Take exit 128B to merge onto US:63 South toward Jefferson City/Rolla/Columbia.
5. Continue driving south on US:63 for around 40 miles until you reach Rolla.
6. Once in Rolla,take Exit MO:ZZ/10th Street/Old Route VV and turn right onto Old U.S Highway.
7. Follow this road (Old U.S Highway)for a few minutes until it intersects with County Road ZZ/Martin Springs Drive.Turn left here.
8. Drive along Martin Springs Drive/County Road ZZ for approximately five miles.You will pass through some residential areas before reaching Webb Creek State Forest entrance gate.The forest's sign should be visible at the entrance.
9. After entering the state forest area,follow any posted signs that direct you to specific trails,parking lots,and recreational facilities within Webb Creek State Forest.Enjoy exploring all that this beautiful natural area has to offer!
