January 5 Hikers Dream by Tatkat

Been to the White mountains twice now, from Ohio. Absolutely love this area. Very clean and trails are marked and maintained very well.
Thinking of finding a part time job for a Season there...
April 11 not a park! / looks like a park by Swiftc

The white mountain National Forest is not a national Park. It is a working forest administered by the Forest Service, a subgroup of the US dept of Agriculture. As such they manage the forest on the basis of multiple uses and a sustained yield of timber. Timber harvests are part of the management edict.

October 1 Some Things Stay The Same by Judy B.

I have to give my thanks to the Parks Dept. for keeping the Whites pretty much the same. Been going there about 50 years and I can count on still finding wilderness, well kept trails, good parking areas, and the peace I came to find. You have my praise for protecting this area for generations to come! I miss the Old Man though.
