There are 26 non-reservable wooded sites with gravel pads, fire rings, and picnic tables. A self-service pay system collects the fees on a first come, first serve basis.

The picnic area is directly across from the campground, with its own water, waste containers, and restroom facilities. The Civilian Conservation Corps CCC built the picnic pavilion. A riverside setting offers one of the most beautiful views of Mt. Moosilauke.

Vault toilets are handicap accessible and equipped with cold water faucets. Refuse dumpsters are provided campers are encouraged to pack out their recyclables. There are no hookups, dump stations, showers or group camping sites available.

Moose are commonly seen along the banks of the Wild Ammonoosuc River. This river was the scene of major log drives in the 1900s.

1. Tent Camping: This is the most basic form of camping available at Wildwood, where you can pitch your tent on one of their many campsites.

2. RV Camping: The campground has several sites that accommodate recreational vehicles (RVs). These come with electric hookups and water supply facilities.

3. Group Sites: For larger groups or family reunions, there are group campsite areas which offer more space and privacy than individual sites.

4. Cabin Rentals: If you prefer something more comfortable but still want to enjoy nature's beauty, consider renting one of their cabins nestled among trees near the lake shore.

5. Yurts: Some people might find yurt accommodation interesting as it provides an unique experience combining comfort & wilderness adventure together.

6. Lean-to shelters: They provide shelter from wind, rain etc while keeping things simple like traditional camping.

7. Trailer Rental Site: There also exist trailer rental site if someone wants to have home:like amenities during stay.

1. Wildwood Nature Trail: This is a 2-mile loop trail that starts and ends at the campground, perfect for beginners or families with children. The path winds through dense forests of pine and hardwoods, showcasing diverse flora and fauna.

2. Bear Brook Loop: A moderate difficulty level hike spanning about 5 miles begins near the campsite entrance offering views of scenic brooks along its course before looping back to the starting point.

3. Catamount Mountain Trail: An approximately 4-mile round trip trekking route which takes hikers up steep inclines towards panoramic vistas from atop Catamount Mountain's peak; suitable for experienced hikers seeking an adventurous climb.

4. Pine Grove Pathway: Easy walking trail stretching over one mile within lush groves of towering pines providing ample shade during hot summer days while also serving as home to various bird species making it ideal for birdwatching enthusiasts.

5. Wild River Circuit: It's a challenging yet rewarding hiking experience covering around eight miles featuring river crossings, rocky terrains leading into deep woods eventually circling back to Wildwood Campground area.

6. Spruce Pond Overlook Track: Approximately three-miles long track meandering past Spruce pond presenting tranquil water scenes amidst verdant surroundings concluding in an elevated overlook spot giving breathtaking view across vast landscapes.

7. Hemlock Ravine Route: Moderate-level four mile return journey traverses rugged terrain via Hemlock ravine revealing stunning natural formations including cascades hidden amongst thick foliage returning by same path ensuring no navigation issues even after sunset hours if equipped with torchlights/headlamps etcetera.

8. Maple Ridge Waypoint Walk: Short half:a-mile stroll encompassed entirely within maple tree clusters changing colors dramatically according seasons thus creating picturesque settings throughout year especially autumn when leaves turn fiery red/orange hues against clear blue skies above adding extra charm this easy-going walkabout accessible all age groups fitness levels alike.

9. Moose Meadow Trail: A 3-mile round trip trail that winds through a meadow known for frequent moose sightings, particularly at dawn and dusk.

10. Boulder Rock Loop: This is an approximately six mile loop featuring large boulders scattered throughout the path providing unique hiking experience with occasional steep climbs requiring careful footing but rewarding hikers panoramic views over surrounding wilderness upon reaching highest points along route before descending back towards campground area again completing full circuit journey around these natural rock formations standing tall amidst dense forest coverings below them.
