Great facilities, excellent sites, near shoreline, and Great hook-ups. Will stay here in the near future.
October 8 Buzzards Roost Campground by Chuck
We stayed at Buzzards Roost campground in June of 2014. we have camped from Maine to Washington, from Canada to Galveston TX. This the best campground we have ever stayed in. The personnel were very, very helpful, from helping with hookups to fishing tips. Camp site had a very large concrete slab to park the frailer. close to Ardmore OK. will stay there as often as I can. Photos show beautiful camp sites with large pad. Wonderful experience.
May 27 Beautiful Lake by jldon585
We really enjoyed our visit this past weekend to Lake Murray. The only downside was all the trash at the campsite when we arrived and then the loud, trashy people that set up camp next to us. We camped on the primitive camping side of the lake down Lem Roberts Road past RC Flying field. What a beautiful little beach we camped at but like I said the trash...OMG people should really try to clean up after themselves and consider the persons who are coming after them. There is an utter disrespect for the environment and the hard work that others put in to creating such a beautiful place to get away. I suggest that the park rangers put up more signs and patrol that side of the lake a little better.
April 4 Incredible! by happyrhino
We found a glowing sword, slayed a dragon and saved the Universe ten times over. I have to say, other than traveling with the Doctor, THIS was the best time of my life!
September 6 One of the most beautiful lakes in Okl
I grew up in the area and visited the park when most of it was still fairly primitive, it is much better now. I try to camp there at least every two years. Elephant Rock campground is my favorite area.
June 11 Awesome vacation destination by Paulina
Beautiful clear water! Nicely maintained campgrounds. 2nd time camping here. Will definitely plan on coming back here many more times. Very nice place to escape to from Michigan!

Our first trip to the trails. AWESOME! We will be back. Wish I had discovered this years ago.
December 28 Beautiful and friendly place to stay by Shana
This is my first family vacation. My children enjoyed the hiking and playing in the snow. There are many trails to travel and the scenery was beautiful. The staff was amazing and caring. The lady who took our reservation stayed on the phone with me to make sure we arrived at the place safely. We were lost and she directed us and cared about of safety. Thank you! After our arrival we felt comfterable and cozy. The cabin was perfect. The room came with cable which was great for end of the day and more family bonding before we drifted to sleep peacefully and relaxed. I have no complaints. I will be back. If it snows again and timing is right I will be back for it. I am from the Houston area. This summer I can not wait to go fishing and all the other activities that are available. I will always remember our time here. I always want this cabin each time I come.
