Oklahoma's oldest and largest state park, located on the shores of beautiful Lake Murray. Fishing, boating and all water sports are found at Lake Murray. Lake Murray Lodge offers guest rooms and suites, cabins, meeting space, The Apple Bin restaurant, and the Parlor. Other activities include golfing, picnics, camping, horseback riding, hayrides, hiking, biking, rollerblading, swimming, miniature golf and paddle boating. Sports facilities include an 18-hole golf course with a pro shop, tennis courts, softball fields, baseball diamond, horseshoe pits, badminton and volleyball nets. Wonderful ATV area for 3/4 wheelers, motorcycles and dirt bikes. Other facilities found in the park include an airstrip, bait and tackle shop, marina with rentals, swimming pool with a changing house, swimming beach, riding stable, remote control air field for hobbyists, miniature golf course and Frisbee golf. The Tucker Tower Nature Center features local artifacts, nature programs and activities conducted by the state park naturalist. Nine RV campgrounds with over 300 RV sites and unlimited tent sites throughout the park with full hookups, restrooms and showers. December 28 Beautiful and friendly place to stay by Shana

This is my first family vacation. My children enjoyed the hiking and playing in the snow. There are many trails to travel and the scenery was beautiful. The staff was amazing and caring. The lady who took our reservation stayed on the phone with me to make sure we arrived at the place safely. We were lost and she directed us and cared about of safety. Thank you! After our arrival we felt comfterable and cozy. The cabin was perfect. The room came with cable which was great for end of the day and more family bonding before we drifted to sleep peacefully and relaxed. I have no complaints. I will be back. If it snows again and timing is right I will be back for it. I am from the Houston area. This summer I can not wait to go fishing and all the other activities that are available. I will always remember our time here. I always want this cabin each time I come.

We stayed in the cabins by the lodge. Everyone was very nice and helpful, and the lake is beautiful. The lake is so clear that you can see fish swimming by. My kids had a great time with the water sports and putt putt golf. My only 2 complaints are: there is not a boat ramp at the lodge and the park does not allow tent camping.

I have been going to this lake since I was a boy and the last two years we have been harrased by several park rangers when we arent even doing anything wrong, they have even gone as far as accusing my dad of being drunk when he had not one drop of alcohol. lake is great just be aware of the rangers around the lake and there eagerness to make an arrest or write a ticket

Mom made reservations well in advance, told them she was in a wheelchair and were told they had handicap cabins, found out just days before our trip they had put her in a regular cabin. They showed no concern. That is POOR SERVICE.

We camp here every sprin, summer, and fall. It is a beautiful lake with great views. Always have felt safe there. The rates are reasonable and the enviorment is enjoyable. We tent camp and always set up at Martians Landing. Our dogs also love it there.

Whenever I need to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life...I spend my time at Lake Murray at the tower, on the pier, beside the lake receiving the balance needed to continue.

the park rangers were very unproffessional they talk to everyone like they were a criminal.

Lake Murray has a great RV park that has beautiful trails leading down to the lake and winding thru the trees. The single biggest downfall is that some politian closed the night time riding which in the summer months is the best time to ride.

September 6 Very Disappointed

We had to cancel our reservations within 24 hours of making them which was still 2 weeks out from the date we were supposed to go. Unfortunately, the weekend we were supposed to go, they still charged us for our whole weekend as if we had never cancelled and now no one answers the phone or emails. Very disappointed!!

July 22 checking out the camp site by okie

Was checking out the camp sites(to see which one we will bring our camper to), and came to one called elephant (something), they would not let us enter without paying $4.00 per person.(Non-refundable for a five minute drive through)I was very disappointed because all the other camp sites didnt charge to view them. Love the park, it is beautiful.

Park needs to stay open all night as they used to. Its too hot to ride during day. Unfortuately we dont go as much as we used to because they started closing gates at dark

perfect for tent camping. nice, clean grounds, trees everywhere. we felt very safe and had many options for recreation. the lake is perfect for swimming. there was not a playground in our campground and we did not anticipate pay showers, so we had to go get some quarters! other than that it was pretty perfect. will definitly be back!

This is a very nice state park in Oklahoma. It has a great bike trail and the view from the tower over the marina is wonderful. I took some great photos of Lake Murray.

May 4 miles of beautiful trails! by justinjune28

Lake Murray has many multi-use trails that are clean and on a busy day you may still be the only person on them. If you like to walk, trail run, or mountain bike, Lake Murray is a great destination. When I get out of school this weekend and go back home, I plan on spending a lot of time at this lake!
