Bakers Hole Campground, located about 3 miles north of West Yellowstone, is a popular destination for camping enthusiasts. Nestled within the Custer Gallatin National Forest and sitting at an elevation of approximately 6,500 feet, this campground offers scenic views and proximity to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

The campground features around 73 sites suitable for tents or RVs with amenities including picnic tables and fire rings; however there are no hookups available. The main attraction here is its access to fishing along the Madison River as well as hiking opportunities nearby. Open typically from late April through October (weather permitting), Bakers Hole provides visitors with a rustic outdoor experience amidst pine forests teeming with wildlife.

Established dates vary by source but it has been serving campers since at least before the early '90s based on historical accounts.
