3. Swimming is only allowed when lifeguards are present, following park rules.
4. The lake's calm waters make it suitable for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
5. Besides swimming, visitors can enjoy boating or fishing activities within the park too.

Boating
The park offers a variety of boating options for visitors. There is a boat launch available, allowing individuals to bring their own watercrafts such as motorboats, canoes or kayaks. The lake's calm waters make it an ideal location for sailing and fishing too. In addition, the marina features seasonal dockage spaces which are rented on a first-come-first-served basis.
Fishing
Located on Lake Chautauqua, the park offers fishing opportunities for bass, muskellunge and walleye. Fishing gear rentals are available onsite.

Picnicking
Long Point State Park offers picnic tables and grills, perfect for family outings. Pavilion rental is also available on request.
Bicycling
Biking is a popular activity, with several trails available for exploration. Be aware that some paths can be challenging.

The park's terrain varies greatly, so cyclists should proceed carefully and consider their skill level before embarking on any trail.

Cyclists are required to stay on designated bike routes; off-trail biking could lead to fines or other penalties.

Helmets are mandatory for riders under 14 years old in accordance with state law - safety first!

Rental bikes may not always be available due to high demand during peak season - plan accordingly.

Remember: the park closes at dusk and night-time cycling isn't permitted.
Birding
The park offers diverse birding options, with over 200 species recorded. It's a hotspot for migratory birds in spring and fall. Bird watchers can spot waterfowl, warblers, sparrows and raptors among others. The lakefront location provides excellent opportunities to observe shorebirds as well.
