MANZANO STATE PARK
Manzano Mountains State Park is nestled in the wooded foothills of the Manzano Mountain range, a part of central New Mexico's scenic beauty. Established on April 5, 1973, this state park covers approximately 160 acres and offers visitors an escape into nature with its cool forested area contrasting against the arid surroundings.
The main feature of Manzano State Park includes picturesque camping spots amidst ponderosa pines and alluring trails for hiking that showcase diverse wildlife and wildflowers. The park provides amenities such as picnic areas, group shelters, RV sites without hookups (no dump station), restrooms with showers but no potable water source available at present due to system issues; thus guests must bring their own drinking water until further notice from NMSP website updates or contact directly before planning your visit.
