SALINA STATE PARK
Located in Oklahoma, the park was established in 1954. It spans over 330 acres and includes a reservoir named Lake Hudson. The area is known for its recreational activities like fishing, boating, camping and picnicking.
The Civilian Conservation Corps contributed to early development efforts during the Great Depression era by constructing facilities such as cabins and picnic areas.
In recent years it has faced potential closure due to budget constraints but continues operation through private partnerships.
