Great weekend - We loved exploring wit our quads, going to Ione and Grantsville as well as Berlin and Union. The Ichthyosaur Tour was great and taught me a lot. I loved the campground too, lots of elbow room and great views. The hikes are very informative with the signage explaining different areas. Great job Rangers

Great Location - Flushing toilets, residential Peacock, very cool trees, what more could you ask for. Situated a half hour to Tahoe and Washoe Lake and 10 minutes to Virginia City. You are close to the road but oh well.

Esmeralda is awesome - I visited Lake Tahoe State Park today coming from Baltimore, MD and I must say I had a great time and even better once I encountered Ms. Esmeralda. She was so helpful and very respectful. She answered all my questions with her best knowledge and was able to guide me through the park very well. Shes Amazing

Great Campground - Traveled April 2-4 2021. Campground was full, we got there around 1130am and took the last spot available. Great views of the caves from spot 5. Had a fun time exploring the area and trails. Were definitely coming back again. Highly recommend.

us flag - I stopped by the forest service office in Wells,NV. The American flag that is beimg flown there is a disgrace, it is tattered and torn. I served in the us army for 30 yrs protecting our country and the symbols of our nation, which the flag is one. Replace the flag or do not display one that should not be flown. Thanks

labor day exploration - Stayed Sept 1-3. we would like to thank Mr. Ben Johnson for his hospitality help for making our labor day camping trip awesome. The place was full, no more campsite, but we got lucky to found 2 sites at overflow through him. We explored Cathedral Gorge that was amazing, hike it as well. Then went to check Lehman Cave as well, go check it out awesome place as well. The facility was very clean, flushing toilet yeah, showers even more yeah. Again thank you Mr Ben Johnson. Go check this place out the surrounding beauty of Northern Nevada

Disappointed - I was here back in 2005 before the flood damage and had,a chance to return in 2016 to find no Reservoir and everything being left go and overgrown. The only wildlife we saw was 3 snakes just a few feet onto a trail. This used to be a beautiful dam and great place to see birds.

Fishing Stillwater National Wildlife Ref - Its closed to fishing do to toxin, Why not open it to catch and release only. C.P.R. Catch, Photograph, and Release. Fishermen with a Nevada Fishing license, Should be able to fish waters that the Fish and wildlife Govern.

Should be ashamed of yourselves ! - You killed a 2 year old bear, because of the humans stupidity. It should have been tranquilized and moved from the area. We are in their natural habitat, they arent in ours...You are killers in my estimation .....

Cutting switch backs - I see trail damage on tunnel creek due to people cutting across the switch backs. Why not put up signs at these points ?

Beautiful and full of history - As a couple of Canadians hiking at Red Rock we were pleasantly surprised by the preservation of history and the beauty of this Ranch. Highly recommended.
