review rating - 1 to 5 stars My running career began here in 1974 - I ran for PGCC in 1974-76, Our coach was Mr. West. We would run from PG College to the park to do trails and time trials. He was a great coach for the time having us do tempo runs through the trails. I transferred to U of South Florida to run on their first NCAA XC team. Coach West prepared us as all of us transferred after graduating to D I schools and we all were successful runners. It all began at Watkins Park.
review rating - 1 to 5 stars so beautiful - wish the visitor desk had been friendly or helpful

review rating - 1 to 5 stars - Many years ago when I was a boy, my father and I, the late Warren K. Page of Field & Stream fame, had the great pleasure of hunting at the farm in the winter. There was a cook there named Kelser, whose crabcake lunches and duck dinners were exceptionally delicious. Do have the receipes he used by any chance? Would love to see them...

review rating - 1 to 5 stars ONLINE TRAIL MAP??!!! - I am hoping to visit the Savage River State Forest this weekend, but am unable to find any online trail maps to assist in planning my outing. I understand there is a map I can purchase, but it will not arrive prior to my departure. This is unfortunate and I may not be able to justify a trip here this weekend because of the lack of a map. I recommend making an online map available in order to accommodate individuals traveling from out-of-state, such as myself, or do not have the means to procure such a map (e.g., finances; limited time).

review rating - 1 to 5 stars MY FAVORITE PARK. LATE 60s EARLY 70S - I have so many memories there. It will always be a special place in my heart. My Dad and family camped there to have short trips to the ocean and bay. Great for local fishing and crabbing
review rating - 1 to 5 stars family afforable - I felt the price for the beach for a family of 4 was a little high almost 25.00 to visit your beautiful beach. Love the area but not the prices.A 2 day pass at that price is aceptable. We visited for several times the price keeps going up.Should be more family affordable for out of state residents
