Launch maintenance - On Sunday September 9th While pulling my boat out of the water I jump down off my boat and walk to the front to crank it up. My foot went down in space between the cement platforms. It was stuck, in the process of pulling my foot loose it tore my tevas and took layers of skin off the side of my foot. We will think twice before using the launch again.

LOVED IT! - It was a beautiful weekend to start with. I took my three kiddos for the weekend while their dad had to work. Such a goodtime there memories were made with sand castle building tons of crabs to catch ay only knee deep water. If your outdorsy you will love it. The park rangers were so nice and helpful. However expensive community so get your groceries before you go out there.

Campground Closed - The campground at the park has been closed since August of 2011 due to Laminated Root Rot. It will not be re-opening anytime soon. The beach, day use and picnicking areas are open from 8 am until dusk. A Discover Pass ($30 - www.discoverpass.wa.gov) or a $10 daily parking permit is required. Daily parking permits can be purchased at the self-pay stations in the parking lot.

This has become our yearly family campin - My daughter,& I found this place pretty much by accident back in 2008, & now we come here every year. My son& I came here last year(2011),& he feel inlove with the place. I recommend this camping area to everybody I know. It has to be the best place, with quiet surroundings, pleasant attendants, & just a n all around peaceful, & beautiful place

Entrance fee - I have been enjoying the beautiful scenery at Fleming Geyser State Park since 1970. Growing up in the Auburnn area, this park has always been the highlight for a day picnic or hike for my children. Now that they are grown, I take my dog. In July I was disappointed when I received a $99 parking fee for not having a valid pass. When I entered the park that Sunday morning, there was not an employee at the entrance to renew my pass (it expired 4 days earlier). In addition, I did not have $10 cash with me to pay for the day pass. I entered the park and decided I would renew by pass on the way out. When I explained all this to the park ranger, he said nothing he could do . I would have to go to court and explain it to the judge. It is really too bad that a long time patron that paid the entrance fee the previous year would be treated so poorly. I renewed by pass on the way out. Instead of having a pleasant day at the park, this situation has soured my visits. I encourage management to rethink their policies and allow paying customers some allowance.

No facilities available - I went on Sat. Aug. 11,2012, paid the $10 to get in, and all the restrooms were closed. I found this to be very upsetting since after paying the fee I found no facilities available.

Our First Time Camping Here Was Great! - What a beautiful, well kept campground. The camp host was so nice and helpful! Everything about this trip was great. We will be coming here every year from now on. I hope to see the same camp host there again. She was great!
