review rating - 1 to 5 stars Northern Harriers - At least three Northern Harriers showed up hunting here this week 8/20/18. Not seen here in at least 8 years. Probably drawn to the voles.
review rating - 1 to 5 stars Fugle mills unit - Trail with birches
review rating - 1 to 5 stars wildlife drive - Take the wildlife drive just a mile or so North of Orrock. 5 miles and well worth the scenery. closed in the winter
2/11/2017 Hayes Lake State Park by Lynn Walker
review rating - 1 to 5 stars FAMILY HISTORY - My mother was born and raised in this area until she was about 6 years old or so. Her family name was Hendershot, a name that is well known up there. I remember many stories she would tell my brother Tommy and I about life in Northern Minnesota.
review rating - 1 to 5 stars The best - I have stayed at Kathio for many years and find the park and the staff to be exceptional. I go at the not busy times and find it very quiet and peaceful. The stars at night are amazing. The staff go out of there way to make your stay great.
10/14/2016 Camden State Park by Sharon Sannerud
review rating - 1 to 5 stars Memories of Picnics at Camden State Park - We had many family gatherings at Camden State Park in earlier years when we would drive past the Park Ranger Home(which I saw today) and we could drive over the old bridge to the only picnic areas of that time. Us children would like to climb up the big hill or at least we thought it was big then. I usually slipped back down before getting to the top.
5/17/2016 Fort Ridgely State Park by Charlie Bornhoft

11/5/2015 O L Kipp State Park by Bill C.
review rating - 1 to 5 stars Been going there all my life. - The name of this State Park has been changed to Great River Bluffs State Park. It covers a range of terrains from prairie and meadow to Pine forest and Hardwood forest. Stunning views overlooking the Mississippi River as well as wooded valleys. Most trails are easy to moderate. Only a couple of slightly challenging trails. Beautiful place.
4/28/2013 Lake Bronson State Park by TNelson
review rating - 1 to 5 stars One of our favorite parks! - Love the boating, paved bike trails, excellent kept bathrooms, a short walk to the ranger station, & friendly people! We used to enjoy Hayes Lake State Park & still do, but Lake Bronson has become #1! Looking forward to the coming summers! LOVE LAKE BRONSON STATE PARK!
